Australian Office visited Feng Chia to bridge Feng Chia with Australia’s top 100 universities in the world.

The Australia Office visited our school on the 5th. Ma Jie, Director of the Business Office, led Senior Business Manager Lu Zhu Zhen, Business Manager Hu Ying Jun, and New South Wales Taiwan Director Zhang Jun Ming to visit the school’s Board of Directors, Principal’s Office, International Office, and International College, School of Business and School of Innovation. The two sides exchanged views on the development of education and technology between Taiwan and Australia, and look forward to opening more communication in the future.

Basketball and volleyball games "Tip-off with Energy".

The event, organized by academic departments with a focus on freshmen participation, attracted nearly a hundred teams – 43 in basketball and 54 in volleyball – totaling over a thousand participating students.

According to the latest " Global Views Monthly" survey on the Most Desirable University Students for Enterprises in 2024, our university secured the top spot among private universities. National Cheng Kung University maintains its top position, while National Taipei University of Technology, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan University, and other national universities are also among the top 10.

"Cheers"announced that Feng Chia University ranking first for three consecutive years.

This year, "Cheers" conducted a "Mutual Evaluation Survey of University Presidents' Educational Performance". Feng Chia University was recognized again, ranking first among private universities for three consecutive years.

Love Knows No Borders: Feng Chia International Volunteers Head to Cambodia.

The main purpose of this trip was to provide educational services. In order to serve in remote areas of Cambodia, the Feng Chia team prepared English, science and music courses in advance.

Feng Chia University Upgrades 5G Campus: Enhanced Environment for Students and Faculty.

To assist faculty and students from various departments in fully utilizing our university's 5G campus and effectively managing the utilization of the expanded 5G implementation, the Office of Technology Development and the 5G Laboratory have been conducting several related educational training courses since the year 2024, allowing faculty and students to experience the expanded and upgraded 5G campus firsthand.

Award-Winning School Technology: Sports AI Advances with Real-Time Soccer Tactical Analysis System.

Director Hwai Jung Hsu from the Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Feng Chia University led a team to participate in the first "2023 Sports Data Ideathon," organized by the Administration for Digital Industries. Their proposal for the "Real-Time Tactical Analysis System for Soccer Matches" stood out in the finals and received an outstanding achievement award, with a total prize of NT$500,000.

All 7 departments of Feng Chia University passed the 2024 IEET International Engineering Education Certification.

"Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan" IEET announced that the school's Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Transportation and Logistics, Department of Mechanical and computer-Aided Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering and Science, and the Department of Fiber and Composite Materials, have all passed the 2024 International Engineering Education Certification, reaffirming the university's teaching quality in the field of engineering and cultivating industries.

Feng Chia University achieves high in enrollment rate, tops private universities in overall retention rate

On December 28th, the Ministry of Education announced the enrollment rates for the 2023 academic year. Feng Chia University achieved an overall enrollment rate of 96.84%, ranking second among comprehensive private universities. The registration rate for daytime bachelor's degree reached an 99.70%, while the enrollment rates for master's and doctoral programs were also above 92 percent.

Fall in love with the library.

Feng Chia University Library underwent renovations in 2000 and 2013, and was renovated again 10 years apart. On December 25th, "Sharing Good and Sharing Good - Library Space Renovation Opening Ceremony and Art Xiangtian Exhibition Tea Party" was held. Chairman Gao Chengshu, Principal Wang Wei, and all teachers and colleagues of the school were invited to participate in the grand event.

2023 International Concert

The General Education Center held two international concerts on November 28 and December 6, planned by Miranda Jan, the school’s resident musician and soprano singer of major symphony orchestras, and specially invited Italy’s “Rome” Opera Concerts” Alessandro Fantini, music director of the Rome Opera and dramatic tenor singer, came to perform.

2024 QS Rankings: Feng Chia University debuts as the first among private university.

QS released the latest 2024 World University Sustainability Rankings on December 5th, evaluating nearly 1,400 universities globally through a series of indicators measuring a university's ability to respond to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges. In Taiwan, 19 national universities and 15 private universities made the list, with Feng Chia University ranking first among private institutions.

Dr. Lu Chih-Yuan, our school's director, CEO of Macronix International, and Chairman of Ardentec, recently received the prestigious George E. Pake Prize from the American Physical Society (APS) in 2024, honoring his exceptional contributions to physics research and industry leadership.

Starting with Education, Feng Chia University Awarded the Taiwan Sustainable University Prize

"At the 16th Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards organized by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), Feng Chia University stood out among 45 participating universities, winning the 'Taiwan Sustainable University Prize' and the 'Sustainability Report Bronze Award.'
